Community Education is provided through the Anoka-Hennepin School District as an efficient and effective way to offer residents of all ages the opportunity for lifelong learning. |Community Wellness Day|
Community Wellness Day is a FREE annual event which aims to help residents learn more and improve lifestyle habits by connecting them with local resources, partners and ideas to improve health and wellness for the whole family. Participation in all sessions is free, but registration is recommended. Walk-in participants will be accommodated as space allows.
|Home and Nonpublic Schools|
Every fall, the Anoka-Hennepin School District offers a limited number of the PSAT and Practice ACT tests for our home school students. These tests have been shown to a positive impact for the future of students and a higher score on the SAT and ACT, which can expand opportunities for college and financial aid.
Community Education offers fun recreational, athletic and enrichment activities and classes for children 18 months - six years of age and their families. Activities and classes are scheduled at elementary schools and off-site locations during the evening, weekend and summer.
